Maintenance Tips of Gasoline Motor
The oil in your dirt bike's engine is essential for lubrication and cooling. Make sure to check the oil level regularly, and change the oil according to the manufacturer's recommendations. To check the oil level in your gas-powered dirt bike, follow these steps:
- Make sure the bike is on a level surface and the engine is cold. If the engine is hot, the oil will expand and give an inaccurate reading.
- Locate the oil dipstick, which is usually located near the bottom of the engine. The dipstick will have a "full" mark to indicate the proper oil level.
- Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth.
- Reinsert the dipstick and pull it out again to check the oil level. The dipstick has "full" and "low" marks to indicate the proper oil level, and the oil should be between these marks.
- If the oil level is low, add oil until it reaches the "full" mark. If the oil level on the dipstick is above the "full" mark, it may be necessary to remove some oil to bring it down to the level indicated by the "full" mark.
